THE SADC SUMMIT AND THE PREPARATORY MEETINGS
The 44th Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of SADC and proceeding meetings will take place in Harare at the New Parliament Building, located in Mount Hampden, 26km from the central business district.
Participants
The Summit will be attended by:
- Sixteen SADC Member States;
- The Executive Secretary, the Deputy Executive Secretaries, SADC Secretariat; and
- Invited Observers
Access to the Meetings
Access to the Official Opening and Closing Sessions of the Summit will be restricted as per the following format:
- Member States;
- Observers;
- Special Invited Guests;
- Local invited Guests;
- Security Personnel;
- Media Personnel
Attendance to the Closed Session of the Summit will be as follows:
- Member States;
- SADC Secretariat; and
- Invited Observers
Programmme
SADC Industrialization Week
The final programme will be shared with Member States and relevant stakeholders in due course.
SADC Summit
The final programme detailing the sequence of the meetings will be circulated to all SADC Member States and invited guests prior to the meeting.
